Kitungwa, Gombe

#InspireProject

Agricultural training was held at Kitungwa Village, Gombe from the 7th to the 9th August 2023.  The community welcomed us and our trainings and informed us that the natural remedies would save them much money.  They were grateful that the remedies were genuine and helped to change their mindset that they were evil magic.

They also discussed with enthusiasm how they could begin small businesses and work together as a community to plant the wider land to increase the variety of plants they grew and improve their diet.

Twenty-eight delegates attended the training, representing twenty-eight families.  During the training a family was also reunited with a lost brother from the next village after many years separation and not knowing where each other was located.

Agricultural training was held at Kanjuki Village from 31st July to the 2nd August 2023.  The community was very welcoming and fully embraced all that we shared including the importance of exercise, dancing and singing alongside praise and worship, prayer and the agricultural training.

The time spent learning together was joyous and beneficial to us all.  Each delegate took turns digging, collating resources for composting and asking questions.  The Minister of Agriculture for the District also attended the last session and endorsed the training.

Forty delegates attended the training, representing forty families and agreed to meet regularly as a community to discuss and coordinate planting plans together.
